Merry Christmas from the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, Craig L. Brown

This year has been especially difficult for many families living here in Yavapai County. The Covid-19 virus seems to color everything we do and can diminish the joy that we experience during this holiday season. That is why it is even more important, as the weather turns cold, and we find ourselves busy buying gifts and planning meals, to take a minute and reflect on the good times we had in 2020 and the joy we will share this Christmas with new friends and family from a distance. | PRESS RELEASE

While we have seen a dramatic increase in positive Coronavirus test results, the numbers that concern me more are those of our citizens in local hospitals with Covid. Read more

Slow Down and Enjoy the View

As the year draws to a close, Chairman Brown would like to express his appreciation to all the volunteer participants of the Adopt-A-Road program in Yavapai County. Adopt-A-Road volunteers collect piles of debris from the sides of Yavapai County roads each year. Each time you see a volunteer walking down a county road picking up debris, please remember that it is our shared responsibility to preserve and protect the landscape and those working so hard to keep it clean. This sense of responsibility is at the heart of the Adopt-A-Road program.
