A Home of My Own!

A Home of My Own! Program

In response to the current workforce housing crisis Development Services has designed three single family home plans that are available for anyone to use as plans to build their home within Yavapai County’s jurisdiction. The plans are FREE!

How big are the homes?
The home plans include one, two and three bedroom designs.

Where do I get the plans?
You can view the floor plans and elevations below:

1 Bedroom Floor Plan 1 Bedroom Elevation
2 Bedroom Floor Plan 2 Bedroom Elevation
3 Bedroom Floor Plan 3 Bedroom Elevation

Constructions plans are currently in plan review and will be available soon! If you’re interested in a specific set of plans, let us know and we’ll put you on our interest list, when the plans are available we’ll notify you.

What do I need to know?
Home owners are still responsible for financing their home and working with their contractor to ensure the home plans fit on their lot. Septic permit, geotechnical report and all other information for permitting is still required. Please review Building Safety’s A Home of My Own submittal requirements  for information specific to this program.
