PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Please notify us if you wish to speak. Please state your Name, Address and parcel and if you are in Support, Neutral or Opposition for the item in the chat with the Host. Once the board opens up for public comment you will have your opportunity to speak or you can write in your comment if you do not wish to speak. The live chat is not public and only the host will be able to see any inappropriate comments and you will be removed from the event.

Meeting Etiquette

To give everyone an opportunity to speak, we ask you to observe the following:

  1. Please limit your comments to three (3) minutes each time you address the Board.
  2. Comments must be relevant to the item being discussed.
  3. If you are with a group, please designate a spokesperson.
  4. When it is your turn, speak clearly and begin by stating your name and address for the record.

If you have material to handout, please Email it: planning@yavapai.us it to the Recording Clerk for distribution to the Commission and staff prior to you speaking. Notify us in the chatroom of your paperwork.

Courteous behavior is expected. Inappropriate behavior is subject to forfeiture of allotted time to speak and may result in removal from the meeting, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure adopted by the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors.

Yavapai County Development Services, Did You Know #1

Striving to give outstanding customer service, the Development Services Department was established to centralize all development related services for the unincorporated communities of Yavapai County. All of the services provided are designed to protect property, the public health, safety and welfare through addressing, building safety, permitting, planning, land use enforcement and environmental services. Staff also maintains the County’s Comprehensive Plan and provides services to both our Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustments..
