Welcome to the Yavapai County Geographic Information Systems (YAVGIS) Home page, a division of the Management Information Systems (MIS). Our mission is to implement an integrated and cooperative GIS program among the local governments and agencies within Yavapai County.

  • County-City partnership for GIS data display – Development Phase
  • County-wide GIS database upgrade to SQL Server 2008 and ArcGIS 10.1 – Implementation Phase
  • Assessor Parcel attribute corrections – Implementation Phase
  • Assessor’s Office migrate ArcMap parcel editing to Parcel Fabric Tools – Analysis Phase
  • Assessor’s Office internal custom parcel number creation application using WPF – On-hold
  • County-wide in-house ArcMap training for County staff– Ongoing
  • County-wide 911 data support – Ongoing
  • Support of Yarnell Fire cleanup for multiple agencies and County Departments – Ongoing
  • Flood Control Department support to link bench mark document to GIS data – In production
  • County-wide Interactive Mapping Application upgrade – Completed 2013
  • County-wide Interactive Mapping Application – change web address for all GIS applications to new Yavapai domain name of – Completed March 2013
  • Public Works development of GIS tools (Phase II of County-wide road inventory project) – Complete
  • Recorder’s Office support in digitized map georeferencing – Ongoing
  • Voter Registration Polling Location external application – Complete
